SUMMARY:FAMO Practice 1 Oslo 2026
DESCRIPTION:  \nFAMO Practice 1\n\n\n\n\n\nThe three FAMO Practice courses examine the details of FAMO exercises to refine your own movement execution and prepare you to teach your clients. This first FAMO Practice module offers a rich selection of experience-proven repertoire that utilise and benefit all 12 fascial movement qualities (FAMO Focus) and 12 myofascial meridians (Anatomy Trains in Motion). \n\n\nAbout the Course\nBy the end of the course\, you will have a nuanced understanding and a felt sense of a multidimensional set of our favourite FAMO exercises\, ready to use in your personal practice and with clients. Experience has shown that the movements and techniques are well-suited for group classes\, personalised training\, and therapeutic settings\, using body-minded movement to enhance physical functionality and psycho-emotional wellbeing. \nWhile all myofascial meridians are considered\, special emphasis is placed on the Superficial Back Line and Superficial Front Line due to their essential roles in postural balance\, movement production\, and creating a feeling of grounded lift in the body-mind. Among the 27 primary exercises are the 14 used for posture-based movement strategies in the FAMO Body Reading & Rebalancing course. \n\n\nLearning Outcomes\nBy participating in this course\, you will: \n\nLearn and experience multidimensional exercises anchored in sound principles of integral fascia-focused anatomy and body-mind holism\nGain a solid understanding of exercises ideally suited for posture-based movement programs\nUnderstand the ‘why’ behind exercise execution\, including applied training techniques\, breathing patterns\, variations\, adaptations\, and the use of massage tools and supportive props\nGrasp and embody the ‘how’ of exercise execution and teaching\nDiscover the diverse\, nuanced use of massage tools that goes beyond the obvious and generic\nComprehend how fascial movement qualities are deliberately utilised\, trained\, and enhanced with specific exercises and sequences\nUnderstand how focusing on specific myofascial meridians influences and enriches movement aims and positive outcomes\nExplore all myofascial meridians in practice\, with a special emphasis on the workings and the somatic and psycho-emotional benefits of the Superficial Back Line and Superficial Front Line\nExperience and observe the profound effects of FAMO Fascia Movement on the body-mind\nGain a new repertoire of exercises to add a novel dimension to your own practice\, your classes\, personalised training\, bodywork\, or therapy sessions\nVitalise your body-mind in the moment\n\n\n\nCourse Highlights\nFor a purely somatic\, non-analytical immersion into FAMO Practice 1\, each course day begins with a master class that seamlessly weaves in the day’s repertoire. SUMMARY:FAMO BodyReading & Rebalancing 2026
DESCRIPTION:Body Reading & Rebalancing\nOslo 21.-23. November 2025\n\n\n\n\n\nThe FAMO Body Reading & Rebalancing course gives the complex skill of assessing postural and movement patterns\, recognising myofascial implications\, and creating coherent exercise programs a contained framework. This approach fosters your increased competency and confident application in one-on-one sessions and in group classes. \n\n\nAbout the Course\nThe posture-based movement program addresses both short-term goals\, such as pain reduction\, enhanced wellbeing\, and an energy boost\, as well as long-term objectives\, including postural balance\, sustainable movement functionality\, and vitality. The course content is directly applicable in one-on-one settings and highly valuable for group lessons. \nUpon completing the course\, you will have trained your eyes and mind to evaluate the body’s geometry\, recognise common myo-fascial-skeletal patterns\, and create coherent posture-based movement programs. Chances are\, you will also gain new insights into your own body alignment. \n\n\nLearning Outcomes\nBy participating in this course\, you will: \n\nIdentify the essential attributes of a successful body reader and the individual being read\nUnderstand the value and significance of 3 fascial movement qualities—tensile strength\, adaptability\, and kinaesthesia—within the specific context of Body Reading\nLearn the 7-step Body Reading process\nRecognize 6 common postural patterns: 4 relating to the pelvis and spine\, 1 focusing on ribcage volume\, and 1 on the shoulders\, arms\, and hands.\nLearn posture-based movement strategies for all 6 patterns using 14 carefully selected FAMO Practice 1 exercises\nUnderstand proprioceptive and interoceptive criteria when using these exercises for movement assessment or as part of a posture-based movement program\nGain new insights into your own body alignment\n\n\n\nCourse Highlights\nThe course begins by exploring the attributes of a successful body reader and the individual being read\, as well as the value of both outer and inner self-perception. We will also revisit 3 fascial movement qualities (FAMO Focus) that are essential for integral body reading and strategizing. \nFrom there\, we discuss the 7-step process of Body Reading. You will learn and practice assessing the body’s structural relationships\, evaluating the alignment of bones relative to each other and their effects on the involved muscles and fascia. To maintain focus\, we zoom in on 6 common postural patterns: the first 4 address the most regularly seen pelvic and spinal imbalances and their influence on the extremities and head\, the fifth focuses on ribcage volume\, and the sixth on the shoulders\, arms\, and hands. \nTo aid in creating posture-based movement programs\, a selection of 14 FAMO Practice 1 exercises is provided and explained in the context of body reading. Specific exercises are allocated to the 6 patterns and classified as “recommended\,” “suitable\,” and “suitable when adapted.” At the same time\, the exercises can be used as assessment tools themselves. For each exercise\, proprioceptive (coordination) and interoceptive (feeling) criteria are discussed. \nA practical set of FAMO Body Reading & Rebalancing evaluation forms is provided to support real-life implementation. \n\n\n\n\n  \n\nSikre deg en plass
